What we do

How does Financial Services of America, Inc. protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law.  These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.  Further, Financial Services of America, Inc. only allows access to personal, nonpublic information to persons within the company on a need-to-know basis.

How does Financial Services of America, Inc. collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • purchase insurance policies or annuities
  • have your taxes prepared
  • create an estate plan

We also collect your personal information from affiliates or other companies.

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control.  They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.  Financial Services of America, Inc. is affiliated with the following companies:

  • FSA Marketing Systems, Inc.
  • FSA Tax & Accounting, Inc.
  • Extended Benefit Services, Inc.

Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial or nonfinancial companies.  Some of the nonaffiliates of Financial Services of America, Inc. include:

  • America’s Professional Services Financial, Inc.
  • America’s Professional Services Association, Inc.
  • The Law Office of Ben Vader, P.L.L.C.

Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
