Chicken Divan
A quick and easy chicken and broccoli dish that all will love!


  • 2 packages frozen broccoli or 1 large bunch of fresh

  • 2 tsp. lemon juice

  • 1/2 - 3/4 tsp. curry powder

  • 6 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, cooked 

  • 1/2 c. shredded sharp American cheese or cheddar

  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup (or celery or mushroom soup)

  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs 

  • 1 c. mayonnaise

  • 1 Tbs. butter


  1. Cook and drain broccoli. Butter a shallow baking dish; set aside. 

  2. Combine soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry powder in a large bowl. 

  3. After chicken has been cooked you will need to shred it into pieces. 

  4. Add the shredded chicken to bowl of combined ingredients and mix together.

  5. Spoon all ingredients from bowl into shallow dish. 

  6. Melt butter in a small bowl, stir in bread crumbs. Sprinkle bread crumbs and cheese on top of the dish.

  7. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serves 6.


  • It is a great meal served with rice and bread. You can also freeze it to eat at a later time. It is a good leftover, also. It is easy to prepare and seems to feed a lot of people.
